Score Cards and Bonuses

How to fill in the score card.

The captain or score keeper of each team will fill in the players names for their teams.

Although not required, the captains usually play each other in the final game of the night.

Players names may be written using full name, or first name, or nick name, as long as it has been communicated to the stats keeper ahead of time.

Use a player's full name if they are a substitute.

Collect $5 from each player and put it in the match envelope. Before the match begins, hand the envelope to Mark (or Dave if Mark is absent) and he will give out the drink tickets for the match. Any envelope short of money will have the missing amount deducted from the home teams payout.

At the end of each round, add the points in the round column and mark the winner in the box below the total with an X. If the round is a tie, mark the box with a / (slash).

Put the completed and signed score card in the silver collection box outside the back office. (near the restrooms)

Do not turn in score cards to the bar staff.

Blank replacement cards are available if your card gets ruined.

Eight Ball Break

If a player makes the 8-ball on the break and does not foul, add 2 points to their score and place a # next to the score.

For example: the player makes the 8 and wins the game their score would be written as 12#.

A maximum of 2 points can be added to a player's score. No bonus points will be awarded if it is not a legal break. Cue ball must remain on the table and no ball may be shot off the table.

The breaker may choose to spot the 8 or rerack and break again.

ERO

If the breaker runs the table during their first time at the table wiith all balls present at the beginning of their turn, circle the player's score.

Bonus

If a player is the first to get an ERO or Eight Ball Break each night, they may get a bonus prize. See Mark (Osey) as soon as you can to confirm it and claim the prize. First to report it gets the prize.
